Hope@Home
Amidst the early COVID-19 lockdowns in March 2020, Daniel Hope launched “Hope at Home,” a daily livestream on ARTE TV, in which Hope transformed his living room into a television set to bring quality classical performances to encourage viewers to stay home. The series was followed by “Hope@Home on Tour”, in which Hope traveled to and live streamed performances from iconic theaters around Germany. The third iteration of the series, “Europe@Home“, launched in spring of 2021 and saw Hope perform 27 concerts over nine weeks, celebrating a different country of the European Union in each performance.
Throughout its 70 episode run, Hope invited guests from pianist Tamara Stefanovich to soul singer Joy Denalane to rapper Max Herre, and many more. In August of 2020, Hope released an album under the same name of the original series featuring a selection of 21 performances from the show’s run. In total, the program featured over 400 musicians over 150 episodes that were streamed almost eleven million times and raised tens of thousands of Euros for artists in need.
